Natural Skin Care- Nature Queen Green Clay

Nature Queen Green Clay #AD- GIFTED

Just mix it with water to get a paste consistency

This product has been kindly gifted to me, from Nat_ul. All opinions are my own.

As many of you know if you’ve been following along my No Buy Challenge, I am on a mission to become more sustainable. From Food to Homewares and from Fashion to Beauty, I am searching for more ethical and natural products to replace my current not-so-natural collection.

When Nat_ul gifted me this Green Clay from Nature Queen, I was so excited to try it out!

I’ve always suffered with Rosacea, and have been trying (with varied success) to heal it with a more natural diet and a more natural skin regime.

What I love about this product is that it claims to relieve the symptoms of acne, heal irritation and more importantly for me, heal the redness of the surface of the skin. Plus, the ONLY ingredient is Montmorillonite (French Green Clay). Nothing else at all.

It is full of magnesium, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, sodium and many other microelements and is suitable for a wide range of skin types, including those with acne or oily skin. Perfect for my skin!

It comes in the tin as a powder that you mix with water and apply.

So, I decided to use it on my face, as a face mask. You can also add it to a bath, or apply it to your body (its apparently great for cellulite!). I mixed a small amount with water until it resembled a thick paste (as per the instructions) and left it to ‘set’ for 15 mins before washing it off with a warm damp cloth.

Me, looking like a green alien

I was gifted this a few months ago and waited until I had tried it at least 4 times (once a week) to review it for you, as i wanted to give it a fair trial.

I have to say that I’m really impressed. After using it, my skin feels incredibly soft for at least a few days. I’m going to be trying it on my decolletage too, as I also get red skin in that area.

So if you are on the lookout for a 100% natural face mask to try, I highly recommend this one. You can find it here .

I’ll be back next week with an update on my No buy Year!
